OK so I need help deciding which car parts to buy. I'm going to use advance auto parts because they always have the best coupon code deals. So, I have a 1996 honda civic. It has been throwing the cylinder 2 misfire and exhaust malfunction codes off and on for the past year or so, and the guy told me that I probably just need to replace my wire-set and distributor cap. I already changed the spark plugs. I planned out my entire cart and have 2 options: 1. A The cheap wire will work for a while. They most likely not last as long as the NGK but still should last 3 or 4 years. Both are 7mm wires but the NGK has better insulation and suppression wiring. I would not think you can feel and performance difference. The $20 price you'll paid is peace of mind of the risk on failure will be lower with the NGK. Is that worth that to you. ?? Me, I'll paid for the NGK, but this is not my money.
