FAQ - Customer Questions - Custom Motorcycle Saddlebag Reviews
- How much is my motorcycle worth?
I have a 1996 Honda Shadow 1100cc C with 26k miles, custom seat, custom handlebars, chrome package, saddlebags, windshield, mint condition, well maintained, always garaged motorcycle. I checked the KBB and for the year and model it says $2300. But with all the customs, low mileage and condition, what would you expect to pay for this bike? Thanks for all of your help guys!
A That's actually pretty high mileage in most people's eyes when it comes to motorcycles. The custom stuff doesn't add anything to the value, but that fact that it's well maintained and in great condition will go a long way. I see them selling on ebay for between $2,000 and $3,000. In this rare case, I think KBB is probably pretty close on this one. I would ask $3,000 and if you don't get any calls drop it in $250 increments until it starts to get noticed. That's a nice bike. My friend has had one since it was new and it has been totally reliable. I have ridden it many times. Good luck with your sale.

- Which VTX motorcycle cruiser should I buy?
I've been shopping for a VTX cruiser for a while and I have it narrowed down to two similarly priced 1300s. Please help me decide by providing reasons and advice from your experience. If its a close call, please state how much of a difference in price would cause you to change your choice. Here are the motorcycle profiles: 2003 Honda VTX 1300R Retro Retro Style Spoke Tires 14700 miles Foot Pads Extras: windshield, saddlebags, hand grips, crash bars, Custom Paint Job (Raiders' theme), sissybar 2004 Honda VTX 1300C Classic Stylish Cast Tires 7400 miles Foot Pegs Extras: windshield, saddlebags, sissybar I will be using the motorcycle as my primary means of transportation. This means riding to work, all around the Bay Area, and longer road trips. Thanks for your help!
A u narrowed it down to two models of the same bike, the real question is which one to u like better, the "c" look or the "r" look.
