Will 1800 contacts call the eye doctor right after I place an order?
I want to order contacts at the moment, and it is about 1 AM here. Will 1800 contacts wait to call to verify my prescription until tomorrow or will they call now, when obviously no one is there?

They do but if your doctor doesnt respond, they will send you your order anyway with a note saying that "no response from doctor".

Does 1800 contacts verify your prescription with your doctor?
Does anybody know if you order contacts online from 1800 contacts if they call your doctor to verify your prescription? I know a couple of people who supposedly say that they do not call.

The do verify but only give the doctors a certain time limit to answer before they fill the prescription. If the doctor does not respond in a certain amount of time, 1800 contacts assumes that it is ok and fills the RX. A little sneaky if you ask me.

6month supply of acuvue contact lenses from 1800 contacts?
I order my acuvue oasys contacts on 1800 contacts but i am trying to find the deal where its no more than $150 with the mail in rebate. I could only find the one for one whole year, but the amount is a little too expensive. I remember i ordered my last contacts from them and the were somewhere in $150. Anybody know more about this?

Acuvue Oasys lenses will cost $148 not including any rebate for 6 months (4 boxes). You are only entitled to the rebate when purchasing a year supply (8 boxes)
