As for "The Keeper's" comments, obviously he is too immature and too young to know anything about Harley-Davidson's reliability, popularity, and value. A "wannabe" who couldn't afford to own a Harley-Davidson so bought what he could afford and now talks trash about something he obviously knows nothing about.
About 30 - 40 years ago, H-D motorcycles were problematic with small oil leaks. They certainly weren't "unreliable" and, while it STILL leaks a small amount of oil, my 1959 Panhead still runs better than alot of new rice-burners out there. I also have a 2003 Heritage for everyday riding that, with proper maintenance ( something that most kids know nothing about ) will be around 50 years from now also, as will my '59. How many 30, 40 or 50 year old, so-called "reliable jap-bikes" do you see on the road ? NONE, because they are disposable. Run them into the ground and throw them away and buy another one.
As for resale, I didn't buy my bike to park it in a garage and sell it 5 or 10 years later, I bought it to ride. Most people who buy a H-D and sell it, does so because 1). They've run into some financial hardship and need alot of quick cash with little to no investment loss ( Spend $20 K on a H-D today and sell it 5 - 10 years later for $16 K - $18 K ), Or 2). They wanted a H-D and bought what they could afford at the time and want to upgrade from a Sportster to a touring model ( again, they'll get almost every dime that they paid for their old bike in payment towards their new one ).

What is wrong with this scenario?
I am a woman. I asked a question in realtionship to motorcycles. Every answer I received, with the exception of 2 , accused me of being a punk kid (guy) and told me to get a copy of biker's magazine and I would see loads of women on bikes with bikini's on. I deleted the question. Lost cause. I wanted to know who owned a Harley Davidson bike( guys) and if they would make an avatar sitting on it with bikini underwear on?.....so whats the big deal? I see women nude, guys nude, guys and girls nude (having sex) on avatars. Is my request that bizarre that no one believes me and more or less accuses me of being a weirdo of some sort? I'm a full blooded woman who likes motorcyles and MEN. I guess that's abnormal.........?????

i think american is more sex oriented people or white girls are more involve in sex than asian girls i am asian u will never know why asian girls are more decent or conservative than white girls unless u live in asia like i am in america almost all women in there wants to get naked in the steet u can see them wearing skimpy bikini or wering almost nothing in public places u can see a lot of them also in car show which feature sexy girls doing cat walk in car shows or even those boat show or public places u can also see them naked in harley davidson bike show fully naked i mean a lot of girls even they are decent or amateurs girls get naked in the street while in asian u cannot find any nude asian girl in public places or u will get arrested asian girls who do this are in the red house district which only adults are allowed to go in there and most of those women who end up as a prostitute cause they need money to survive cause all of them are poor not in america even rich girl
