Motorcycle gear?
My husband just bought a bike and they sold him a helmet and gloves that are too big, a jacket that is too small...and didn't give him anything but the debit reciept, and he wore the gear when he rode home so now they won't exchange it. SO...now we need to know where to go to get new gear at a decent price??? We also need to pick up some women's gear when we get my husbands...but where to go? We are new to the whole motorcycle scene and we don't want to get taken!! Thanks. We live in the northish portland area.

Try some places like motoworld or any other local cycle centers in ur area (i wouldn't know what those are, i live in cali.) and try them on to find ur size, then buy it online:

That stuff ranges from cheap to expensive, trendy to functional. If you just type "Textile motorcycle gear" into a search engine, it'll pull up Thousands of sites that sell hundreds of different brands. If you're going to buy online though, make Sure the company has a good return policy as MC gear fits differently than most people think and you'll more than likely return at Least one item.

Motorcycle Gear?
Starting my 4th season and so far so good no falls. Did have my first drop at 5 MPH and as laughable as that sounds it was a wake-up call for me. I want to invest in serious gear this summer. I want a jacket with serious armour! Vented properly but the key is the armour. No cheap padding. I like the ICON Timax2. Also would like a custom fitted helmet. Where do you get the good stuff? There are so many products and review out there. Any help would be great. Ride safe!

Stick with fieldsheer or first gear,alpinestars for your mesh wear and buy an arai helmet they are shape fitted so once you wear one you will wonder why did i wear that other crap for so long. Buy the brightest helmet you can find for an added visual for the other dips on the road
I wear a alpinestar textile stunt jacket and it has hard armor pads and a back protector alpinestar boots and some Icon jeans an aria corsair nakano orange replica helmet indy superbikes to buy online or seach for a cyclegear store near you they carry some good stufff and you can try it on
