Charles asks…

I want to buy an helmet for my honda 80cc motocycle.Tell me from where I can get used parts of motorcycle?

I need help from experienced person.

Motorcycle Store Staff answers:

NEVER buy a secondhand helmet – you do not know the history of them, they might have been dropped, leaving no mark on the outside but the protection will be compromised, helmets have a limited lifespan too after 5 years or so the plastics start to become brittle.

David Silver should be able to find parts for the bike, but since you do not give model or age that makes it more difficult to judge.

Steven asks…

How do I remove a gasket?

I have a gasket that rotted out in my honda motorcycle. It quite refuses to come off. I've carefully tried to remove it with a boxcutter blade, but have scratched the aluminum once or twice (which makes me very nervous). The gasket still won't come off. I'm looking for some homebrew tricks to get this thing off.

It's evil I tell you, EVIL.

I've also tried using de-greaser and WD40 to loosen it. To no avail.

I actually haven't tried using gasket remover (duh to me), but I'm not sure how wise that would be because the gasket is right around electronic parts on my bike.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
KFJ

Try scraping with something softer than aluminum like a plastic picnic knife or putty scraper.
