- where should i store my helmet on my 2007 Harley sportster?
I am purchasing a Harley Sportster and I was wonder where I should store my helmet on the bike when I am not wearing it?
A Sportsters are for girls?! They were the best performing Harleys before the VRod came around. A well tuned Sporty with straight pipes sound better than any of the other models in my opinion. I'd take retro Sporty chopper any day. Anyway, are you talking about storing it on your bike while you run into the store or in your garage while you are at home? If you want a storage place on your bike, invest in a helmet lock. I'm cheap so I put mine on mirror but that is a good way to brake off your mirror if you are areless. If it is a half helmet I would leave it hanging on my foot peg. My bike is too low so it would still hit the ground. I prefer it on the peg so passer-bys don't notice it as much.

- Harley Helmet but Riding a Suzuki?
I bought a Suzuki Cruiser last year, and a friend bought me a gift certificate to the Harley Davidson store.....so I could buy a second helmet. When I bought my bike I thought the Fonzie helmet was still cool....I know, I know...and now I don't like it and it's sweltering hot inside it. I want to get a full, ventilated helmet. Anyway, it seems like everything that Harley makes has their logo on it. I feel sorta like I poser if I were to wear a Harley helmet or jacket etc. I bought the bike when I was having a mini-mid-life crisis. I love to ride, but I'm not "rider's rider". It's all still new to me. To all riders out there: Am I being stupid even thinking about this? Would you even notice someones helmet? She keeps asking me if I have used the gift card yet, so I want to use it and get something. Helmet/Gift Card advice only please...the rest goes without saying. Thanks.
A Most dealerships carry a line of aftermarket accessories, both in riding gear and parts for your bike... a sissy-bar bag or tool roll, for example. Just explain to the person helping you you want something without the branding, and they'll be happy to help you spend your money. Good luck, and keep enjoying the bike.
