- 06'Harley performance parts?
I have a 06' Harley Davidson Night Train with the 88 cubic inch and 5-speed trany, with only 2,834 miles on it. so far I installed a Thunder Header exhaust and a power commander and a after market air filter .I want to install some high performance parts in the engine (internal parts) what is the best cam to install in a 88 cubic inch Harley motor?

A Harley sell 95", 103" and 110" kits for around $1200- $2300. You get heads , cam, etc. Never lighten the flywheel. Don't polish the intake, swirl it. Harley are good performers, very torquey. Kyle knows nothing about bikes, in fact his mom won't let him get one yet Why weaken a good torquey flywheel? Why polish a EFI intake? You polish exhaust manifolds not intakes. The idea is to get the fuel into a mist, not a big drop.( which is what you get when you polish) When you swirl it you get smaller drops. As far as your friends, I can't beleive you have any, unless they are as pathetic as you. Aint Polish a nationality?

- Looking for performance tips for my 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster xl883
I have an '07 Sportster 883 that i'm looking for ideas and suggestions on how to upgrade performance wise. I dont know a whole lot about all the ECU and computer stuff and this is the first year of fuel injection on these models. I took the baffles out of my stock pipes and it sounds a lot better but thats about it. What else can I / should do to make it a fire breathing little hot rod. And what do all the parts cost or where online can I go to check stuff out. It doesnt have to be "harley" brand parts. I'd like to go with an upgraded air cleaner but not really sure whether to go KN or Screamin Eagle or if there is something better. I've seen the cone filters before but dont know much about them or also the things that look like little super chargers on the side of the bike. Thanks for all your help in advance I dont really care if I keep the hardware stock or not. I'm looking for any tips or tricks. Old school or new school. I dont care if it's "tweak this ofr more power" or "add this part"

A "can't make it go fast" is just a buncha uninformed BS, as evidenced by the fact that the bike that holds the land speed record in this class started life as an 883. now, injection will make it more expensive than a carburated bike, 'tis true. you wanna start with exhaust, hi-flow air cleaner, and a dynojet power commander. that alone is gonna really wake up your 883. after that it just depends on how bad the speed bug has hit you and how deep your pockets are. you can bore it, stroke it, turbo it, supercharge it, nitrous it, etc. have fun! (someone here already mentioned sportster.org, and that's the group that built the bike that put sportster on top in the land speed game. go there.)
