- How do I lower my 06 CBR RR 1000 Honda motorcycle?
I need to know the procedure for lowering my bike, can anyone help me out. I have tools but if it's something a shop should do let me know. I do have some knowledge of taking it apart.
A Buy some lowering links (aka dog bones) like these: http://www.exoticsportbike.com/honda114.htm Then loosen your fork clamps (aka triple trees) to lower the front end. - Do Honda motorcycles still come with tool kits?
Just wondering. Haven't checked out any new ones. All my old ones did. Most of the tools were still there when I got them. I always thought it a good thing the bike came with the tools for basic maintenance. Old HDs had a toolbox. Early cyclists had to maintain their own rides. My new one doesn't. I guess everone else goes to the dealer. Nice to know it's still there.
A My Brand new 1300 came with one ! / I think all bikes do except Harleys they usaully have there friends from the bar push them home /lol
