- i need a heated suit to hook up to my 1987 honda motorcycle., i don,t want to pay a fortune for it can you hel
This suit has a wire that will connect to the motorcycle to keep you warm in the winter when you are riding. The motor cycle is a honda goldwing 20 year annaversary.
A Just make one. I looked into this and found this webpage... Basically its 30 feet of 30gauge wire wrapped inside of a riding suit that plugs into the electrical system. A 5 amp fuse serves for protection, so its really not an amp hog, although your G-wing will be able to handle it fine. http://www.shadowriders.org/faq/electricvests.html I am going to make one.

- Scared to ride my motorcycle.?
I recently bought my new motorcycle, a 1985 Honda Shadow 500. I took the MSF course with excitement and bought all my safety gear, including a HIT air airbag jacket. I got insurance and was ready to go out for a ride all suited up even though it was 90 out when it happened...I froze. I started to think of the what if's, the "why the hell and I doing this" and am I going to be alive after this ride. I am a complete beginner, I have had some experience with dirtbikes in the past but not road motorcycles. I have been trying to get over this fear for a week now and can not seem to do so. I work as an EMT, so my mind keeps flashing to those motorcycle accidents where I have thought to myself, "Well someone isn't going to be going home tonight." And of course this is not fair because I never get to see the crashes that someone walks away from. Although I have noticed they always seem to involve someone my age on these sport bikes, who aren't wearing any safety gear and usually are going to fast. My question is: is it time to sell the bike. I haven't even had a chance to ride it and yet, I feel as though maybe I was not meant to ride a motorcycle. Any advice on sucking up the fear and getting on the motorcycle and riding? This all seems so sudden as I was prepared to accept the risk of going down and possibly die for the sheer thrill of living life to it's fullest. Now it seems as though my mind is trying to stay alive and prevent me from doing anything that would not allow me to come home at night.
A "I work as an EMT, so my mind keeps flashing to those motorcycle accidents . . . ." My god, man! You go out to collisions and don't look at *how* the collision occurred and what the two parties did and what they could/should have done instead to have avoided the collision? Whenever I seen an "accident" scene I try to figure out how it happened and whether or not it would have caught me. So far, every one I've seen both parties made serious driving errors that I avoid.
