FAQ - Customer Questions - Honda Motorcycle Vest Reviews
- I own an Honda XL250.Want to use a heated vest and grips.Bike alternator cannot run both.Battery dies.?
I was thinking of connecting a second battery in parrallel and putting it in my saddle bag. Do you think this will work? Will both batteries end up dead? I will probably keep the vest on most of the time. The grips I will cycle on and off during the ride. Is there any type of switch/device I can install between the two batteries that will prevent the main battery from fully discharging? The motorcycle only has electric start. There is no kick starter.
A Down 2 gears and hold the throttle open. Until your just short of the red line your battery wont keep up.

- Can my Father make me have my Tattoos removed?
Ok so im a 20 year old male living in the UK and my father has seen some of my tattoos (aqquired since 18 years old so legal) (not all of them either) and has gone absolutley mental and is saying that I need my body cleaning up and that if he ever finds the scumbag who defaced his son he will have him arrested and taken to court as nobody has the right to deface his son without his permission first! He very much beleives that because he is my father he has the right to have me sent to have these removed, I dont disagree with him because he's my dad but at the same time I wouldnt give the surgeon consent to remove the tattoos (can the surgeon work on me with just his permission and not mine?) He is saying that if I do not go ahead with the surgery then I wont get any inheritance and i'll definitley never get a proper job (been working for a company who owns several hotels for the past 3 years) and i'll also never be accepted into university....is this true? I'll be regarded as scum for the rest of my life supposedly.... Im very happy with the way I look and I love my tats but I hate to think that it's upsetting my father so much and didnt realise how badly they could affect my future (none of them are visible unless im wearing a very low neck top or a vest (which I never do anyway because despite my own personal love of them im quite ashamed as to what people think because I know myself that im not criminal scum but with tattoos that is waht everybody assumes and that you are just trouble who deserves to be locked up!) If I went as far as a consultation with the surgeon (and my father) and went along with everything like my father wants but told the surgeon I personally dont want them removed and its just my father that wants this and I personally dont give him permission then could the surgeon still work on me? Is there any way that my father could say bribe the surgeon into performing the surgery without my consent? Any help on the subject would be much appreciated as I really dont know what is going to happen...... I Have a motorcycle he doesnt like because its a Honda and its not a British made motorbike, I'ts such a reliable little machine that I love to peices and spent 5 months building from parts I got at scrapyards and salvage yards but he will do anything to try make me get rid of it, he begs all the time for me to scrap it and tries to bribe me with a better one if I take my little Honda off the road .... surely he should be proud that I managed to get it on the road in the first place with no formal mechanics training or anything, maybe its just me? Is that relevant????? I Live on my own in my own rented flat Everything I own is mine... there is nothing I have that is in anybody elses name! I built the motorcycle myself out of scrap that I paid for with my own money from working my own full time job!
A Your father sounds a bit around the bend. A lot of people have tattoos, and are just as successful and socially accepted as anyone else. You don't describe the location or type of tattoo, but as long as it's not something ridiculous like a swastika on your forehead, I can't see what the big deal is. You are an adult, and have the right to choose to get a tattoo, and there's nothing he can do about it. If he wants to cut you out of his inheritance, that's fairly sad, as it really shows that his prejudice against tattoos is greater than his love for you, and honestly I find that to be disgusting, you're his son, he should treat you with more respect. He may not agree with your decisions, but he should accept them as your own. While it's true that some employers will reject people with obvious tattoos, unless it's in an obnoxious place like your face, it's easy to cover up, and they can't fire you for having a tattoo. College admissions do not care about your tattoos. As you are not a minor, no one can operate on you without your permission.
