- Where is the best place to find parts to a 1978 Honda motorcycle?
It is a 1978 cb750F Super Sport. A website would be best. I need some model-specific parts like coils, seat, fuel tank, brake lines, mirrors, cables, and other misc. parts.

A Hi, I have built over 14 CB750 Fs in the last 10 years, From 1975 to 82s. I have found that the best place is Ebay, but you have to be patient. I do have people that I have met over the years that supply/ have certain hard parts that they will sell you. Tanks are easy to find but be careful. Some people will grade a tank as excellent when in fact it is no good. Side covers are hard to find in excellent condition, I have 4 rights and 5 lefts....but I am holding on to them for now. I do rebuild the side covers and will paint them myself...Tank Badges and side cover badges are hard to find in excellent condition, but there is a guy in New Zealand that restores them...The OEM exhaust on the 1978s is another story...you will never find it...I have only seen 1 in 10 years.Seats are easy to find, except the silver strip on the bottom....I only know of 1 guy who will reproduce it for you for an arm and a leg. Be very careful whn looking for carburetors, You will have to buy 4 or 5 sets to get one good set for your bike...77 is different from 78, but they will work....Engine parts are all interchangeable for Cb750fs....You may have to get some things powder coated to match...I have some brake parts, master cylinder, disc, rear mounting plates, hoses, and a few mirrors left over, but they are about a 4 or 5 on the condition scale. - What color should I paint my 1977 honda cb 750 motorcycle?
I have taken off the turn signals and the mirrors to give it that old school look and it is currently grey. I want a color that will make the bike really stand out.
