- What do you think about the new automatic/CVT transmission motorcycles (Honda DN-01 and Aprilia Mana)?

A I think buster brown has a great answer... especially for those who wouldn't ordinariliy decide to get on a bike. That includes alot of ladies. The CVT has been around for decades. The Suzuki bergman has the same exact CVT as the big ATV'S. so they do not have a monopoly on performance CVT. The Honda works just fine: as anyone with half a brain knows, with CVT's the power transferred is directly related to load, speed, throttle position, range and acceleration. The Ridley bike is a nice ride. -Couldn't tell you about the Aprilla. As usual, do not lend one ounce of credence to the poster whose avatar rhymes with carp(yeah, the stinky fish).... he does not even have/ride a bike, has no expertise in any discipline of motorcycling whatsoever and jumps at the chance to spout off as if he does. He holds NO credibility in this community or any other. His information comes exclusively from magazines, which as we all know are full of half-truths and corporate bullspit.

- I have a1976 or 1977 honda 650 motorcycle with an automatic transmission.?
It has less 1200 miles on and has been in a garage it's entire life. I want to sell it. I know the auto transmission was rare and there were only a limited number made. About how much do you think it is worth?? It is in prefect condition.
