- What are the issues with rust in a motorcycle gas tank?
I'm looking to purchase a motorcycle, and one that I'm looking at is priced about half the normal used price. This is because of some cosmetic damage and the fact that there's rust in the gas tank. I know almost nothing about motorcycle workings, and would like to know what happens when there's rust in the gas tank. Can anyone help me out?

Realized my motorcycle gas tank is shifted to the right about 3/4", how do you shift it back to center? Realized my motorcycle gas tank is shifted to the right about 3/4", how do you shift it back to center? (I have a 1997 Suzuki Gs500E)
