- Should I worry about a motorcycle handle bar crack?
There is a tiny crack in the handle bar on my motorcycle. The crack is about 1 mm big. I have pushed and pulled on it and it seems pretty stiff. Should I worry about it snapping off while riding?
A Even though it looks like a very small crack, think about it this way, CRACK KILLS!!! If you get in a situation where you have to apply a great deal of braking power, you are putting a large amount of weight on the handlebars just by holding onto them. Even under normal conditions, those handle bars take a good bit of stress every time you speed up or slow down. You do not ever want to have that epiphany moment while your riding down the road at 60 mph and holding half a handlebar in one hand telling yourself "Hmmm, maybe I should have changed this when I had the chance" If you do chose to ride with that crack, just make sure you're all prayed up.

- switch for motorcycle lights on handle bar?
Hi there, I am after putting the LED lights under the frame of my Honda CBR... Now obviously they are illegal and you cannot use them on the road, these are for photo shoots ONLY! So, my question is, where is the switch to turn these on/off? Can I have the switch on the handle bars for ease of use or do I have to take the bike to pieces to switch these on/off? Thanks all!
A Have the switch easy accessible but fit a fuse in the feed from the battery. I would use a 12v relay that is on when the ignition is switched on, run the fused feed though the relay contacts. That will ensure you don't flatten the battery and it stops any passer by from switching your lights on!
