Im looking for possibly a helmet camera that has really good quality and is perfect for motorcycle racing. Ive seen some videos on u tube and other places from like the side of the bike or the rear of it. Sorry im getting off topic. My question is What or where can i find a good camera with audio also, to mount on my helmet or bike? When mounted on the tank does that stop you from being able to lay down and get under the windscreen, or does it mount on the handel bars somewhere?
A Audio in the environment you stated will be a problem. There will be wind all over the mic. You have two ways to go (and the size will dictate where the big part is located): 1) A helmet cam attached to a miniDV tape based camcorder. There are not many camcorders with AV-in. I am going with a group of colleagues to Vietnam in October. I want to take footage of the trip. I am looking for a good camera which is easy to fit to a hired bike and is water proof. Any recommendations?
