- How do I clean my motorcycle seat that's all gummy and sticky from being in the sun?
My motorcycle seat is made of purple vinyl that feels sticky and won't rinse off with soap and water. Now my jeans are also purple and sticky. Ugh! Help!

- Where can I find a grippy motorcycle seat?
I've been looking for a new motorcycle seat for my 2009 GSX1000. I'm having alot of trouble trying to locate one. I'm looking for a seat that doesn't allow me to slide all over the place when I'm riding my bike at the track. I need a seat that I can push myself forward on the seat and not slide back when I accelerate, and actually stay put on the seat. Something very grippy, not really looking for comfort just a seat that I can do alot of aggressive riding on! Any suggestions?
A The seat is fine, what you need is a back stop. You will have seen racers with a pad, normally made of foam on the back of the seat to stop the rider from sliding too far back. You can buy these or simply make your own out of stiff, firm foam. The last one I made (including glue) cost me less the £3 with foam I bought from my local DIY store. Good luck.
